Steve was born in Beijing in 1982. After a license in Industrial Design, he came in France with the aim of becoming a perfumer. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Chemistry in Strasbourg then joined the University of Montpellier in order to obtain his Master’s degree of Engineering in cosmetics, aromas and perfumes.

Steve joins Robertet China. His training at the School of Perfumery in Grasse ended in 2016.

In 2017, Steve takes part in the International Perfumer-Creator® Prize organized by the SFP (Société Française des Parfumeurs), and wins first prize with his perfume “Chypre 24” created during his training at Robertet .

In April 2018, he joined Robertet's Parisian team where he worked as a perfumer.
